In greenhouses, plants are formed into one stem (all lateral shoots are removed up to a height of 50 cm, subsequent ones are pinched over 1-3 leaves), tied to a trellis (fruits must be hung in nets). In the southern regions, they are grown by direct sowing in open ground in April.
