The white cabbage variety ‘Juda 146’ was obtained at the Volgograd Experimental Station of the All-Russian Research Institute of Plant Growing. Approved for use in the North Caucasus region in 1950. The variety is prized for its resistance to hot and dry weather conditions. Size and shape of growth: The diameter of the rosette of leaves in representatives of the variety ‘Judge 146’ is 72–97 cm. The leaf is lyre-shaped with a petiole of medium length. Petiole with large lobes and border at the base. Leaf blade 23–39 cm long, 25–43 cm wide, rounded, flat. The surface is covered with folds and wrinkles. The edge is slightly wavy. The color of the leaves is gray-green with a medium to strong waxy bloom. Venation is rare. Size, shape and color: The shape of the head is round-flat with a slope upward, diameter 18–25 cm, medium and good density. The inner stump is short and medium in size. Head of cabbage weight 1.8–4.2 kg. Taste: Cabbage has good taste. Ripening terms and productivity: White cabbage ‘Judge 146’ refers to medium late varieties. The period from full sprouting to the onset of technical ripeness is 132–152 days. Marketable yield 5.0–6.7 kg / m2. Disease resistance: The variety is relatively resistant to fusarium wilt and vascular bacteriosis. Sufficiently susceptible to mucous bacteriosis and downy mildew.
