An annual plant. A spherical bush with a height of 25-30 cm and a diameter of 10-15 cm. The leaves are dark green. The plant is covered with large, 4 cm in diameter, double orange flowers. Blooms from June until frost. The plant is unpretentious. Grows well in partial shade. Prefers light fertile soils. It is quite hygrophilous, but does not tolerate excessive waterlogging. Propagated by seeds, which are sown in March-April in seedling boxes. The crops are covered with wet sand with a layer of 3 mm and constant humidity is maintained, for which the container is covered with glass and placed in a well-lit place. Seedlings appear in 14-20 days. After emergence, the humidity of the substrate and air must be reduced by removing the cover glass. Seedlings, reaching a height of 1 cm, dive into the pots one plant at a time. Plants are exposed on the open balcony in mid-May.
