Sorrel seeds “Emerald King” – winter-hardy frost-resistant perennial. Early ripe variety. The period from germination to the first cutting of leaves lasts 30–40 days. The leaves are tender, oval-elongated, light green, smooth, with a pleasant slightly acidic taste. Highly productive variety: yield for 2 cuts is about 5-10 kg / m2. To obtain early production in the 2nd and subsequent years of life, crops are covered with foil from early spring. The variety is ideal for making homemade green cabbage soup and canning. Sowing seeds is carried out in open ground to a depth of 1-1.5 cm. Seedlings are thinned out. The first cut of greens is carried out 2–2.5 months after sowing. The flower arrows are removed regularly. The last mass cutting is carried out no later than mid-August for successful overwintering of plants. Sorrel needs regular watering, weeding, loosening, feeding.
