Melon AIKIDO F1 Cucumis melo L. Aikido F1. Seeds of the Japanese company “SAKATA”. An early hybrid of the Galia cultivar, recommended for both early plantings (February-March) and summer plantings (July). Ripening occurs 37-38 days after planting. Thanks to its excellent adaptability, it is grown everywhere in the open field and in greenhouses (glass and foil), on trellises and in spreading. The plant is vigorous with resistance to fusarium (0.1) and tolerance to powdery mildew. The fruit is round, golden-yellow, in a net, up to 2 kg, with white dense pulp and a high sugar content (1013%). Fruits of high palatability, shelf life, transportable. A pronounced change in color of the fruit from green to golden yellow clearly indicates the moment of harvest. Recommended density: 1 plant / 1m2 outdoors. 2 plants / 1m2 for greenhouses.
