Terry late tulips have strong flower stalks 45-60 cm high. These tulips differ from the early double ones in the larger size of the whole plant and the late flowering period. Double late tulips have one drawback: their heavy flowers often break off from rain and wind. This must be taken into account when planting such tulips and give them well-protected areas or tie them up. The color of tulips of this class varies from pure white to black, and can be two-colored.
