They have long been used to decorate gardens, parks, and private plots. Ornamental bows are traditionally present in rock gardens, rockeries, rocky gardens, group plantings and borders. They are suitable for cutting, including as dried flowers and for forcing flowers in the off-season. Onion flowers come in a wide variety of colors. Globemaster – This very good garden form is a hybridization. It begins to bloom in June, and often ends with the onset of autumn. Spherical inflorescences, up to 25 cm in diameter, consist of many star-shaped flowers and purple in color. The flower stalks, which appear between the shiny green leaves, reach a height of 80 cm.
