An annual plant of the Labiate family, up to 30 cm high. The flowers are purple-red, collected in a racemose inflorescence 14-20 cm long. Prefers sunny areas with loose, moderately fertile soils, moderately fertile soils, can grow in partial shade. Grown in seedlings. Seedlings appear on the 10-15th day. Abundant flowering from June to frost. They are used for planting in flower beds, lawns, rabatkas, in balcony boxes.
