Annual green crop for growing in open and protected ground. An early ripening variety, technical ripeness in open ground occurs 25-27 days after germination, in film greenhouses – 29-32 days. Leaves are tender, without pubescence, good taste. They contain a lot of potassium, vitamin C and carotene. They belong to the most valuable yellow-green vegetables with medicinal and dietary properties. Leaves are used for food together with petioles fresh, boiled and fried.
