Radish ‘Red Giant’ is a variety bred by the Far Eastern Experimental Station of the All-Russian Research Institute of Plant Growing. Approved for use in the North-West, Volgo-Vyatka, Central Black Earth, North Caucasian, Middle Volga, East Siberian and Far East regions in 1958. Recommended for outdoor cultivation. The variety is cold-resistant and resistant to flowering. Sizes and growth shape: Representatives of the ‘Red Giant’ variety have an erect or slightly spreading rosette 10-14 cm high, 22-28 cm in diameter, number of leaves 6-12.
