An annual plant of the Purslane family with creeping succulent stems. Plant height 8-15 cm. Flowers are large, very bright, varied in color, wide open, 3-4 cm in diameter, simple. Flowers only open on clear, sunny days. Blooms from July until frost. Sown in March and early April. They are planted in a permanent place after the end of spring frosts, maintaining a distance between plants of 15-25 cm. It is widely used for curbs, in massifs, on rocky hills, in vases, pots and balcony boxes.
