Low annual, semi-herbaceous plant up to 20 cm tall. Stems are recumbent, branched. Leaves are pinnate-lobed, pubescent. The flowers are white, broadly bell-shaped, with bright dark purple spots on the outer side of the petals. They grow well in partial shade, but abundant long flowering is possible only in good sunlight. They prefer loose, nutritious, permeable soil, making high demands on the moisture conditions. Sowing is carried out at the earliest possible date and make sure that the soil does not dry out. Germinate in two weeks. Thin at a distance of 20 cm. For autumn flowering, sow in June. Nemophila is effective near water bodies, can be easily combined with other plants and looks great in borders. It can be sown along paths and between bulbs and corms.
