Climbing annual plant for vertical gardening from the Bindweed family, with shoots up to 2.5 m long. The leaves are large, heart-shaped. Abundant flowering – from late June to frost. The flowers are funnel-shaped, large (7-10 cm in diameter), blue with a purple star, a white “eye” in the center and a light thin border. Morning glory is photophilous and thermophilic, does not tolerate frost. Sow in open ground in the second half of May, 2-3 seeds per hole. It is advisable to soak the seeds for a day before sowing. Seedlings appear in 6-14 days, the distance between plants should be 25-35 cm. Used for landscaping balconies and vases, creating vertical flowering screens.
