On the rhizomes, the plant forms up to 400-600 nodules of a yellowish-brown color, oval, 1-2 cm long. The taste is reminiscent of an almond. Can be eaten raw, baked, fried. The plant is rich in proteins, microelements and B vitamins, useful for diabetes mellitus, problems with the gastrointestinal tract, colds, and low immunity. Sowing: in open ground in late April-early May to a depth of 4-5 cm, three nodules side by side, in a large hole, in a well-lit place, in loose, fertile soil. Sowing pattern 60×60 cm.
