Gypsophila flowers form a light cloud, they are white, stellate, collected in branched soft panicles. The leaf is linear-lanceolate, grayish-green. Growth pattern: bushy, dome-shaped, height 80-120cm. Location: grows well and blooms in illuminated areas, tolerates light shading. When groundwater flows, they die. Soil: dry, fresh, drained, clay-sandy, limed. Reproduction: seeds, cuttings and grafting. Bloom: June-August. Usage: mainly for cutting. They are good in summer and winter bouquets, retain their decorative qualities even when dried. Less often they are used for flower decoration in combinations with other plants, in group and single plantings, mixborders. Gypsophila is a perennial plant up to 120cm tall. Stems are knotty, highly branched, especially in the upper part, form an openwork spherical bush. Leaves are small, narrow, basal – lanceolate or linear-lanceolate, pubescent. The whole plant is grayish green. The flowers are small, up to 0.6 cm in diameter, white or pink, simple or double, collected in paniculate inflorescences. Blooms in July-August for 40-45 days.
