Herbaceous dioecious perennial with curly tetrahedral stems up to 6 m long. The leaves are whole, oppositely arranged, the lower ones are three-five-lobed or separated with a cordate base and coarsely toothed lobes, smooth above, rough below. There are two flowers at the base of each cover leaf. Blooms in June-August. The fruits ripen in July-September. It is used for vertical gardening of balconies, hedges, as a plant decorating unattractive outbuildings on the site. Hop is a powerful natural antidepressant, immunostimulant, has a positive effect on metabolic processes, especially on the regulation of fat, mineral and water metabolism.
