Summer honey agaric, in natural conditions, appears in June and disappears by the end of August, justifying its name. The cap is 4-6 cm in diameter, semicircular at a young age, later flat-convex with a protruding tubercle in the center. The color is rusty-brownish brown, with concentric, lighter stripes. The pulp is white, watery, rather thin. The stem is cylindrical, slightly narrowed downwards, sometimes with a ring. Before using honey mushrooms, it is recommended to boil and drain the broth. Further, mushrooms can be fried, salted, pickled, added to soups. Boiling dried mushrooms is optional.
