Light-loving and thermophilic plant 20 – 30 cm high. It has a root rosette of leaves, from which graceful inflorescences very much resembling chamomile with slightly bent petals appear, having a variety of colors. The inflorescences are open only in sunny weather. Seeds are sown for seedlings in early April or outdoors in May. Seedlings appear on the 10-14th day. Gatsania is very fond of the sun, moderate watering and feeding every 2 weeks. They are used on flower beds, borders, rabatkas. Gatsania is also grown as a pot culture. For the winter, it is transferred to a cool and bright room, and in the spring it is cut off, transplanted and again taken out to the balcony or terrace.
