Description of the plant: Common cucumber ‘Bluff F1’ is a hybrid of the Crimean experimental selection station of the All-Russian Research Institute of Plant Growing. Approved for use in the Central Black Earth, North Caucasian and Lower Volga regions in 1998. Recommended for outdoor cultivation. The hybrid is valued for its high yield of marketable products and good commercial qualities of gherkins and zelents. Size and shape of growth: Hybrid ‘Blu F1’ is represented by long-leaved plants, mainly of the female flowering type. The leaf is medium-sized, green, slightly wrinkled. The edge is slightly wavy. The ovary is large tuberous, the pubescence is complex, black. Pumpkin: Size, shape and color: Zelenets fusiform, 11 cm long, 4 cm in diameter, weighing 82–96 g. The surface is covered with large tubercles. The color is green, with smeared stripes, reaching 1/3 of the length of the fruit, and medium spotting. On a cross-section, the zelenets are round-triangular. Taste: Taste qualities of fresh and canned produce are good and excellent. Ripening and productivity: Common cucumber ‘Dear F1’ refers to medium early hybrids. Pollinated by bees. Marketable yield is stable and amounts to 1.2–2.8 kg / m2. Disease resistance: The hybrid is resistant to mosaic virus, downy mildew and powdery mildew.
