Seaside cineraria (Сineraria maritima), or seaside groundwort, or senecio (Senecio cineraria) is a shrub or subshrub of the Asteraceae family, or Asteraceae. Grows naturally in the Mediterranean. In most regions of Russia, cineraria cannot winter, therefore this plant is grown in an annual culture through seedlings. Description and varieties. The seaside cineraria is very attractive due to its openwork pinnacle silver pubescent leaves. When grown from seeds in the first year, cineraria forms a compact rounded bush, about 20 cm high (there are also tall varieties up to 50 cm in size).
