An annual medicinal plant. Stem erect, strongly branched, 30-60 cm high. Leaves 2-5 cm long, doubly pinnately dissected into narrow filiform lobules, alternate, sessile. Flowers are collected in baskets on long peduncles located at the ends of the shoots. The growing season is short – 60-70 days. The aboveground mass is removed during the period of mass flowering. For harvesting, chamomile is mowed, dried and stored in a well-ventilated area. Productivity 0.5-0.7 kg / m2.
