A large-leaved purple basil variety with a strong spicy aroma. It ripens quickly and amicably, forming a large spreading plant weighing 250-350 g and 50-60 cm high. It is used fresh and dried as a seasoning for meat, fish dishes, soups and drinks. The variety is especially good for Caucasian cuisine, where the bright rich taste and aroma of purple basil are appreciated. Grown in seedling and seedless culture. Prefers well-structured, humus-rich soils. Needs regular watering.
