A wonderful mid-season (40-55 days) pickling variety for open ground and film shelters, bee-pollinated. The plant is long-leaved. Zelenets cylindrical, large tuberous, with a light waxy coating, 11-15 cm long, weighing 100-200 g. Excellent taste both fresh and canned. The variety is resistant to drought and downy mildew. They are grown by direct sowing of seeds in the ground and by seedling method. Seeds are sown in open ground when the soil warms up to 15-20C during the day and at least 8C at night. The grooves or holes filled with a substrate of peat, manure humus, sand and mineral fertilizers are watered, seeds are embedded in them to a depth of 1.5-2.0 cm, mulched with peat or rotted manure and covered with a film.
