An unpretentious ornamental annual plant from the Cruciferous family, up to 40-50 cm high. The flowers are lilac in color, have a strong natural aroma, especially in the evening and at night. Photophilous, but can grow in partial shade. Cold-resistant, drought-resistant, undemanding to soil. Blooms profusely from late June for a month. To prolong flowering, re-crops can be carried out at intervals of two weeks throughout the summer. Grown by direct sowing in the ground in early May. Seedlings appear in 10-12 days, they are thinned out, leaving 15 cm between the plants. It is used for planting along paths, near terraces, gazebos, as well as in mixborders and Moorish lawns.
