Moorish lawn is probably the most famous mixture of decorative lawns. A bright carpet of flowers, carefully selected for height and flowering time, surrounded by “classic” lawn grass, creates an ideal place for relaxation or a photo session. The recommended seeding rate is 3-4 kg per 100 square meters. The grass mixture is sown from spring to early September to a depth of 0.1-1 cm. For this, the seeds are divided into 2 parts and mixed with sand or dry soil. One part is sown along the plot, the second across. Seedlings appear on average within 14 days after sowing. Composition – 50% red fescue, 40% perennial ryegrass, 5% meadow bluegrass, 5% annual and perennial flowers. Pay attention – there are 2 dates on the package, the date of packing and the expiration date, please do not confuse them and do not get upset with the thought “expired” – just look at the second date.
