Mushrooms Red Boletus (Leccinum aurantiacum). Good tasty edible mushroom, universally used. In soups, it gives a dark broth, and the pulp turns black. Can be dried, frozen, salted, pickled. The hat is 5-10 (30) cm in diameter, spherical with an adressed edge, convex, orange-red, bright. Stem 8-10 (15) cm long and 1-3 cm in diameter, cylindrical, thickened towards the base, whitish with brown, reddish-brown longitudinal fibrous scales. The pulp is dense, firm.
