The variety is mid-season, belongs to the shooting varieties. The average ripening period is about 87-98 days. The head of the garlic is round-flat. It consists mainly of 4-7 cloves of a simple structure, 10-20 g each. The total weight of the bulb can reach up to 120 g. The husk is white, sometimes slightly pinkish, with purple streaks. The planting of seed material of winter garlic should be carried out at the end of September, choosing for this a site on which legumes, cabbage or pumpkin crops were previously grown. Winter garlic feels best in the sun-open beds with light and fertile sandy loam or loamy soil. Seed material selected for planting must be divided into teeth, disinfected by keeping in a saline or manganese solution, and then planted in holes or furrows: with an interval of 10 cm; depth 6 cm; row spacing 25-35 cm. It is necessary to cover with mulch or special covering material in autumn.
