This unusual plant belongs to the Agave family and is deservedly popular among amateur flower growers. It has a bottle-shaped trunk and long narrow leaves up to 1 m long, located around the stem. Nolina is very stable, unpretentious, easy to care for. They bloom only with age in greenhouses, reaching rather large sizes. Prefers a bright, sunny place, room temperature and higher. In summer, plants can be taken out onto the terrace or balcony. If the plant is kept in winter within + 15- + 18 ° C, watering is excluded. At normal room temperature, the content is about + 20-22 ° C, the humidity of the air is increased by periodic drip spraying of the leaves. Warm water is poured into a flat tray every 2 weeks. In summer, also moderate, limited watering. Water only after the earthen coma has completely dried. Short term droughts do not harm plants. Top dressing is carried out in the summer with a complex mineral fertilizer once a month, reducing the concentration by 2 times. From seeds it is easy to grow, seedlings emerge easily at a soil temperature of 20 ° C and grow quickly. Young plants are transplanted annually, adults – less often in pots with a wide base.
