The presence of reed fescue in the grass allows the lawn to do without watering and not lose its emerald color for a long period of time. Agricultural technology: Sowing can be carried out at any time from early spring to early autumn. The territory prepared for planting a lawn is cleaned. The soil is plowed deeply, fertilized, loosened and rolled to form a compacted surface. If necessary, liming is carried out and sand is added. Sowing is carried out crosswise, which makes it possible to achieve an even distribution of seeds over the entire area: one half of the seeds is sown in one direction, the other across what was sown. The seeds are buried in the soil to a depth of 1 cm using a rake. On sandy soils, reconsolidation must then be carried out. To maintain the moisture content of the seedbed, finely dispersed irrigation of the lawn must be carried out.
