Fragrant dill ‘Uzbek’ is a variety obtained in the Central Asian branch of the All-Russian Research Institute of Plant Growing. Approved for use in the North-West, Central, West Siberian and East Siberian regions in 1972. The variety is valued for the slow transition of plants to stem production. The size and shape of growth: Variety ‘Uzbek 243’ is represented by tall (81-133 cm), well-leafy plants. The leaf is large, delicate, aromatic, 13.7 cm long, 14.4 cm wide. The terminal segments are of medium length (1.0–1.5 cm), thin, numerous (from 16 to 43 on the most developed second-order lobe). The color is green, with a slight waxy coating. The length of the petiole of the lower leaves is 8.2 cm. In the phase of technical ripeness, the stems are juicy. Good taste. Ripening and productivity: Dill ‘Uzbek 243’ refers to varieties of late ripening (late ripening). The period from full germination to the beginning of flowering is 83 days. Productivity at technical ripeness is 2.2 kg / m2. Disease Resistance: The cultivar is relatively disease resistant. Directions for use: Recommended for fresh consumption and canning.
