An early ripe salad variety. Not only a high-yielding variety, but also an ornamental variety that is easily recognizable by its delicate lace leaves. “Emerald lace” forms a powerful low rosette (up to 30 cm), with a large number of leaves on one bush. The weight of one bush is up to 0.5 kg. This variety of lettuce is suitable for growing in open ground and greenhouses, as well as using hydroponics. It grows quickly even at low temperatures and poor illumination of the site. An early variety, already 40-45 days after the similarity of the sprouts, the salad is ready for harvesting. The “Emerald Lace” variety is grown using seedlings. Seeds are sown at the end of April. Seeds germinate already at a temperature of 15 degrees, germination is almost one hundred percent and simultaneous. Seedlings appear in 7-10 days. After a week, you need to loosen the soil, another week later – thin out the seedlings. In May, seedlings are planted in open ground or film greenhouses without heating. Sowing lettuce for seedlings can be done in several cycles and harvest until the end of September. The “Emerald Lace” variety is resistant to diseases and pests, as well as temperature extremes.
