Long-term early green culture. The variety is early maturing, high-yielding, winter-hardy. The rosette of leaves is erect, loose. The leaves are oblong-ovate, dark green. Grown by sowing in open ground in spring or before winter. Seedlings are thinned out, leaving 20 cm between the plants. Harvesting is started when the leaves reach a length of 10 cm. They are subsequently cut as they grow back. Young leaves contain a large amount of vitamin C, carotene, B vitamins, valuable organic acids. Fresh sorrel leaves are added to salads, boiled ones are used as a side dish and in soups.
