Microgreens are young plants in the phase of the first pair of true leaves, when they have the maximum concentration of vitamins, mineral and other biologically active substances, carotenoids, which neutralize free radicals. Young leaves of special vegetable crops diversify and complement the diet, decorate salads and any other dishes. Specially selected vegetable crops, each of which has its own special taste and complements the overall bouquet of taste sensations. Delicate and juicy greens are good both on their own and in various dishes and snacks. Grown all year round. Low, wide containers can be used to obtain microgreens. Fill the selected container with a sterile growing medium for growing seedlings or indoor plants. Spread the seeds over the surface with a distance of about 0.5 cm and sprinkle with a layer of substrate 0.3-0.5 cm. Moisten well with a sprayer. When grown in a special container “Factory” of microgreens, the soil is not used. Instructions for growing microgreens in the “Factory” germinator • Fill the tray to the level of the grate with tap water. • Spread the seeds over the surface of the grate. • Cover the container with a lid and place in a warm, bright place. • After seed germination, ventilate the seedlings daily by briefly removing the cover; • Refresh water and monitor its level. • Keep at room temperature and constant humidity. • Microgreens are ready to eat when the first pair of leaves is present. • Cut the plants with scissors and use in various dishes. • After collecting herbs, clean and wash the container from the remaining roots. The finished product is environmentally friendly and absolutely safe for eating.
