A medicinal perennial plant with a strong pleasant aroma from the Labium family. Blooms from July to September. Oregano infusion is used as an expectorant for respiratory diseases, for stimulating appetite and improving digestion, liver diseases, pulmonary tuberculosis, hypertension, convulsions, epilepsy, neuroses, for the treatment of gynecological diseases.
