The green-white bracts of this original annual look fresh and original. It is well worth cutting, interesting in bouquets (the stems must be kept in hot water so that the milky juice does not clog the vessels). It is especially advantageous to arrange groups in a flower garden. Sowing in April, lightly sprinkle the seeds with earth. Shoots in 8-12 days. They are planted when the threat of frost has passed. Sowing in open ground with further thinning is possible. The plant is warm and light-requiring. Grows best in fertile, loose soils. Decorative until frost.
