Bordeaux 237 has a round-flat shape, deep red color and barely noticeable banding. The surface is rough, the flesh is firm and sugary. As it grows, the fruit is pushed out of the ground to nearly half its size. The weight of a ripe fruit is 230-500 grams. The yield is 70–90 tons per hectare. One-seeded beets are called because only one fruit grows from one seed. Due to the ability to harvest several times a year, the variety is intended for cultivation in warm regions of the country. But this does not mean that it is not suitable for medium to temperate climates. Bordeaux can be planted before winter and at the beginning of summer you can enjoy a tasty and healthy root vegetable.
