Description: The variety is early maturing (the period from mass sprouting to technical ripeness – 68-75 days). Root crops are leveled, elongated-cylindrical (16-17 cm in length and 5-6 cm in diameter). The surface of the root crop is smooth. The pulp is very dark, juicy, without ringiness. The taste is high. Recommended for fresh consumption and processing. Differs in high productivity and resistance to flowering. Does not require thinning. AGRICULTURE: Beets grow best on rich, fertile soils with a neutral reaction. On heavy soils, it must be grown in ridges. The best predecessors are early potatoes, cucumber, onions, pumpkin, and zucchini. In the fall, humus is applied to the site for beets, if necessary, the soil is limed, in the spring, a complex mineral fertilizer is applied. Seeds are sown in late April – early May to a depth of 2-4 cm in rows with row spacing of 25-30 cm and a distance between seeds of 8-10 cm. Thinning is not required. Further care consists in loosening, regular feeding and watering. For top dressing, a special complex fertilizer “AELITA-VEGETABLE” is used, containing a NPK complex, enriched with a wide range of microelements and providing the necessary nutrition during the entire growing season.
