Radish ‘Ilke’ – a variety of selection of the German company ‘Replace Mauser Quedlinburg’. Approved for use in the Central Black Earth and Middle Volga regions in 1995. The variety is valued for its high commercial qualities and resistance to flowering. Sizes and growth shape: The leaves of the ‘Ilke’ variety are dark green, obovate, erect. The plate is convex. The edge is crenate with an average depth of incisions. Petiole with anthocyanin coloration. Size, shape and color: A rounded root vegetable with a rounded base, from red to dark carmine color. The head is flat. The pulp is white, juicy, does not flake for a long time. Root vegetable mass 16–20 g. Taste: Taste qualities of root vegetables are good. Ripening terms and productivity: Radish ‘Ilke’ refers to the varieties of medium ripening (mid-ripening). The period from full sprouting to the onset of technical ripeness is 27-29 days. Marketable yield is stable and amounts to 1.1–1.3 kg / m2.
