Radish ‘Autumn giant’ – a variety of selection of the Kuban State Agrarian University. Approved for use in the North Caucasus region in 1977. Sizes and growth form: Representatives of the ‘Autumn Giant’ variety have a standing rosette. Leaves are medium in size, dissected, slightly pubescent, green. Size, shape and color: Root crop is rounded-oval, 6–8 cm long, 5–6 cm in diameter in the middle, white. The pulp is white, juicy, tender. The root crop is 1/4 immersed in the soil, easily pulled out. Radish mass 122–175 g. Taste: Taste qualities of root crops are good. Ripening and productivity: The ‘Autumn Giant’ radish is a medium-ripening (mid-ripening) variety. The period from full sprouting to bunch ripeness is 25–28 days. Marketable yield 1.7–2.1 kg / m2.
