Radish ‘Rhodes’ – a variety of selection of the German company ‘Replace Mauser Quedlinburg’. Approved for use in the Northern Region in 1996. Sizes and growth shape: The leaf in representatives of the ‘Rhodes’ variety is erect, obovate, with a rounded upper part, of medium length and width. The plate is convex, the depth of the incisions is medium. The edge is jagged. The color of the leaves is yellow-green. The venation is average. The petiole has a weak anthocyanin coloration. Size, shape and color: The root crop is rounded, red, bright red at the top. The pulp is white. Taste: The taste of the roots is excellent. Ripening and productivity: Radish ‘Rhodes’ refers to varieties of early ripening (early maturing). The period from full sprouting to the onset of technical ripeness is 19–28 days. Marketable yield 0.5–0.8 kg / m2.
