Recommended for fresh use in a daily diet in salads and vinaigrettes, soups, for decorating snacks. Green onions are added to vegetable, meat and fish dishes, as well as to minced meat, pies filling, various sauces, marinades. It can be frozen and used as a multivitamin green during the winter. Sowing seeds directly into open ground is carried out in late April – early May, to a depth of 1.0-1.5 cm according to the scheme 4-5 x 10-15 cm.The harvesting begins in late June – early July, when the leaves reach a height of 20 -30 cm.
