Large-flowered crocuses are very fertile, unpretentious plants, which are decorated with really large goblet flowers: on average, 2 times larger than those of wild ancestors. Many hybrids differ in minor color details or size, which only becomes noticeable when grown together. Yellow – yellow flowers, plant height 10 cm. Location: thrive in well-lit, sun-warmed places. In the shade, the flowers do not fully open. Planting: The best time to plant is August-September when the plants are at rest. The bulbs are planted according to the general rule: if in loose soil, then at a depth equal to two bulbs, if in heavy – at a depth of one. But in any case, not smaller than 5cm. Bloom: March – April. Usage: effective in group plantings, curbs, ridges, on rocky areas.
