Seeds of Lupine Blue Flame, 0.5g. Perennial flowering plant of the legume family. Its tall, strictly vertical peduncles up to 100 cm in height are decorated with spectacular palm leaves. Inflorescence is a blue dense, multi-flowered raceme up to 45 cm long, flowers 2 cm in size, numerous, fragrant. It blooms from the first days of June for 30-40 days. Photophilous, but tolerates light partial shade. Grows well on any light soils with a pH of 5.5-6.0. Propagated by seeds. It is better to sow freshly harvested seeds before winter or in early spring directly into the ground. Lupins are used in group plantings in large arrays in the background, on lawns in front of hedges or together with other perennials in mixed beds.
