It grows in different climatic conditions and on any soil. The plant is early maturing (50-60 days from planting seedlings before harvesting), medium-sized, unpretentious. The stem is hard, ribbed. The leaves are round-oval, medium in size, dark green. They are used for smoking, as well as for the manufacture of insecticidal preparations. Contains more nicotine than smoking tobacco (up to 9%). Makhorka has a sharper taste and aroma than tobacco.
